A few helpful details.
Can I apply as an individual, or does my company need to apply?
You’re welcome to apply as an individual. You do not need to wait for every stakeholder or a formal top-down approval before starting the conversation. If the opportunity moves forward, we’ll work with you to bring in the right people at the right time.
How do you handle data?
Your company’s information stays yours. We never use your data, documents, or project knowledge for another client or outside your engagement.
Before work begins, we can put an NDA and appropriate security safeguards in place. All information shared to understand, build, and support your solution is handled confidentially and used only to deliver your work.
What types of projects are you especially interested in?
We welcome a broad range of operational challenges, and are especially keen to build on work in these areas:
- Document review and approvals: streamlining submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Project-manager assistants: coordinating communications, tracking commitments, and having the project manager’s back.
- AI-assisted accounts payable and budget control: matching invoices to cost codes and budget lines, catching discrepancies early, and tracking change orders and schedule delays against the project budget.
Who is eligible for this funding?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and affiliated with a construction company or a closely related organization. You may apply as an individual within that organization; a full company-wide approval is not required to begin the conversation.
How is the grant allocated, and what are the conditions for using it?
The grant is allocated as up to $10,000 in Humance consulting and solution-building support—not as a cash payment. It can be used for discovery, workflow design, AI integration, and building a tailored solution for your operational challenge. Awarded support must be used within three months of beginning the collaboration so the work can move from a clear challenge to a meaningful outcome without losing momentum.
